US State and California Privacy Notice

Scope

• Applies to personal information we collect from US residents acting as website visitors, prospects, and users of TimenBill services.
• Does not apply to data we process solely on behalf of business customers where the customer is the controller/business.
• Rights and availability vary by state law and are subject to statutory exceptions.

Categories of personal information

Sources

• Directly from you (forms, support requests, account setup).
• Automatically from devices and browsers during website/product use.
• From service providers, payment processors, and integration partners.
• From connected Microsoft or Google services when your organization authorizes those integrations.
• From administrators acting on behalf of customer organizations.

Use and disclosure

• Provide, maintain, secure, and improve TimenBill services.
• Provide public FAQ/contact flows and enabled AI-assisted, automation, payment, and support features requested by you or your organization.
• Process subscriptions, transactions, and support requests.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce contractual rights.
• Disclose information to service providers and processors performing services on our behalf.

Sales, sharing, and targeted advertising

• TimenBill does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
• We may share limited identifiers with advertising/analytics providers for campaign measurement and ad delivery where permitted.
• You can opt out of targeted advertising or sharing where applicable by using our preference controls or contacting us.
• We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of minors under 16.

Your rights

How to submit requests

• Email support@timenbill.com with the subject line 'US Privacy Request'.
• Include your full name, email used with TimenBill, state of residence, and request type.
• Authorized agents may submit requests with signed authorization and identity verification materials.
• We may request additional information to verify identity and prevent fraudulent requests.

Appeals

If we deny your request in whole or in part, you may appeal by replying to our decision notice within 45 days and including 'Privacy Request Appeal' in the subject line. We will review the appeal consistent with applicable state law.

California-specific disclosures

• California residents may designate an authorized agent to make requests on their behalf.
• California residents may request details about information-sharing practices under applicable California law.
• We retain personal information according to business and legal requirements as described in our privacy policies.
